Our Managing Director, Rob Cole, has been encouraging local businesses to get out and about, and getting involved in Netwalking. He and Karen Perkins (Business and Life Coach) are relaunching the outdoor business networking project which brings local business people together for a brisk walk up the Endcliffe Park valley whilst swapping business ideas and sustainable ways of working.

There’s a lot to be said for exchanging your office environment for the outside environment – fresh air brings fresh ideas and an open-ness for reaching out to others. People are naturally more relaxed walking side by side, which opens them up to easier conversation. As the Outdoor City, Sheffield, is great at germinating alternative approaches to living to incorporate fresh air and creativity.

If you fancy joining in, the next meets are scheduled for Wednesday 16th January, Wednesday 20 March and Wednesday 15 May – get the dates in your new diary now! The group meets at Endcliffe Park Cafe at 9.20am for a 9.30 start.

This is Sheffield Telegraph journalist, David Bocking’s take on the last Netwalking meet:
