Recycled paper worktop & kitchen island

One of our recent kitchens has a great example of a worktop and kitchen island made from a recycled paper substance called Richlite. It’s a very durable and highly sustainable material made from many layers of resin-infused paper, creating something very tactile due to the variation of natural fibres.

Richlite is composed of approximately 65% FSC®-certified or recycled paper content and 35% phenolic resin and is water-resistant, sanitary, has low moisture absorption, and is heat and fire resistant as well as extraordinarily dense and durable.

See the images of the kitchen here.
