Our kitchens range from sleek and contemporary, to homely and characterful.
All out kitchens are individually designed to ensure they work for you and the way you use your space.
Our priority is ensuring our customers are happy. We listen to your individual needs and ideas and then work closely with you to design a space that works efficiently and fits the way you live. All our work is finished to an extremely high standard. We don’t feel a job is complete until you and we are happy with the quality of all the workmanship. It's key to us to make the process as stress-free as possible, and create a kitchen that you love!
We are a member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, and have been thoroughly assessed and vetted for the high quality of their workmanship and continual commitment to excellent customer care. Combined, our team has over 70 years of industry experience. Our tradespeople are industry accredited and highly skilled. We also have a great team in the office, working away behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Our prices reflect the workmanship we put into each kitchen, both in the design and the execution and aftercare. Sheffield Sustainable kitchens are built to last. We don’t claim to be the cheapest, but we strongly believe that you get what you pay for. We always produce a clear quotation detailing what is and isn’t included in the price, so that you’re clear what you are and aren’t getting for your money.
Design is very important to us at Sheffield Sustainable Kitchens. We build our kitchens to last. Getting the design right is key, so that your new kitchen not only looks fantastic, but also functions as a highly efficient and practical space. A well designed kitchen is a pleasure to work in, a badly designed one is a daily annoyance.
We never compromise on the quality of materials we use and work to extremely high standards. We don’t cut corners. We put in little extras as standard (like our sink base liners) as we feel they’re essential to maintaining the quality of your kitchen in the long term. Our cabinet carcasses are guaranteed for 15 years and all our hinges and drawer runners carry lifetime guarantees.
Our aim is to work with as little impact on the environment as possible. Sustainability is key to us. We seek out materials with high recycled content and source responsibly and locally wherever we can. Wherever possible, we use our electric fleet and encourage our team to cycle short journeys. We’re committed to supporting local businesses and small independents, promoting community and the local economy.
We want you to really love your new kitchen and are keen to ensure that it continues to function as it should, for many years. We carry out a standard 3-month health-check after completion, to make sure there are no "teething" problems with it. If you experience any issues at all with your kitchen, we want to know! We will do our best to rectify them.
As a member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, we pride ourselves on creating highly functional quality kitchens, whilst keeping sustainability and ethics at the core of everything we do.
We aim to use sustainably sourced materials, with a high recycled content, depending on the project. Many of our kitchens have a story to tell, whether it’s the cabinet door fronts that were originally railway wagons, open shelving that had a previous life as a school lab bench (complete with graffiti) or worktops made from glass bottle shards set in a solid resin.
Having been designing and fitting sustainable kitchens for 12 years now, we are proud to have been awarded the Sheffield Business Award for Excellence in Corporate, Social and Environmental Responsibility in 2018.
This 3D visualisation gives you a really immersive tour of one of our kitchens. The space is a traditional terraced house, where we knocked the dining room through to the original off-shot kitchen. We turned the off-shot into more of a utility area and the dining space into a kitchen-diner.
The end result is a compact kitchen which works really well. It incorporates a breakfast bar that extends to seat seven, and a moveable storage and worktop island giving more flexibility for food preparation. Our clients love the new space.
