At Sheffield Sustainable Kitchens we design and fit beautiful and bespoke living spaces.

We create kitchens, bathrooms, and other living spaces that are designed and built to last for decades.

Our designs use a combination of high quality fixtures and fittings, and eco friendly materials, which are reclaimed, high recycled content or sustainably sourced.

The Guild of Master Craftsmen logo

As a member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, we pride ourselves on creating highly functional quality living spaces keeping sustainability and ethics at the heart of everything we do.

Since the business was founded in 2008, we are very proud to have won multiple awards for the way we work.

Our approach to sustainability extends further than the living spaces we create.

Many of our kitchens have a story to tell. Maybe it’s the cabinet door fronts that were originally railway wagons or open shelving with a previous life as a school lab bench. Many of our kitchens have worktops with a backstory, made from glass bottle shards, many layers of paper set in a solid resin, or recycled plastic.

And we don’t just design kitchens in Sheffield – we design and deliver kitchens, bathrooms and more across the UK.

Award-winning Business

We’ve been sustainable since the business was founded in 2008.

In 2021 we won the Sheffield Business Award in the category “Planet Saver” and the Sheffield Star Small Business Award for Social Responsibility.

In 2018 we were proud to win the Sheffield Business Award for Excellence in Corporate, Social and Environmental Responsibility.

Why choose the award-winning Sheffield Sustainable Kitchens?

Our priority is ensuring our customers are happy. We listen to your individual needs and ideas and then work closely with you to design a space that works efficiently and fits the way you live. All our work is finished to an extremely high standard. A job is not complete until you and we are happy with the quality of all the workmanship. We want to make the process as stress-free as possible, and create a kitchen that you love!

We are a member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, and have been thoroughly assessed and vetted for the high quality of their workmanship and continual commitment to excellent customer care. Our team has a solid base of experience. The tradespeople we work with are industry accredited and highly skilled. Our office support team are brilliant at making sure everything runs smoothly.

Our prices reflect the workmanship we put into each kitchen, both in the design and the execution and aftercare. We don’t claim to be the cheapest, but our kitchens are built to last – we believe that you get what you pay for. We always produce a clear quotation detailing what is and isn’t included in the price, so that you’re clear what you are and aren’t getting for your money.

Design is very important to us at Sheffield Sustainable Kitchens. We build our kitchens to last, and we believe in getting the design right, so that your new kitchen not only looks fantastic, but also functions as a highly efficient and practical space. A well designed kitchen is a pleasure to work in, a badly designed one is a daily annoyance.
We never compromise on the quality of materials we use and work to extremely high standards. We don’t cut corners. We put in little extras as standard (like our sink base liners) as we feel they’re essential to maintaining the quality of your kitchen in the long term. Our cabinet carcasses are guaranteed for 15 years and all our hinges and drawer runners carry lifetime guarantees.

Our aim is to work with as little impact on the environment as possible. Sustainability is key to us. We seek out materials with high recycled content and source responsibly and locally wherever we can. Wherever possible, we use our electric fleet and encourage our team to cycle short journeys. We’re committed to supporting local businesses and small independents, promoting community and the local economy.

We want you to really love your new kitchen and are keen to ensure that it continues to function as it should, for many years. We carry out a standard 3-month health-check after completion, to make sure there are no “teething” problems with it. If you experience any issues at all with your kitchen, we want to know! We will do our best to rectify them.
